Start, stop or change my contributions?
If you are an Active member you can increase, decrease or stop making personal contributions or Pensions Plus contributions at any time via Workday.
Find out if I can take my pension and carry on working?
You can take the benefits from your Personal Account and continue working under the flexible retirement option. Please refer to the Retirement options section of this website for more information.
Can I make a partial transfer?
To give you more flexibility with your pension savings the Trustee and Company may allow you, whilst you are an Active member, to withdraw some or all of your Personal Account from the DC Section and transfer this to another registered pension scheme. Partial transfers are conditional and must be made with Company consent. For more information go to the Partial transfers section of this website.
Transfer my pension?
The Trustee will permit you to transfer your Personal Account in whole, provided the receiving arrangement is a registered pension scheme and certain conditions are met. Please refer to the Leaving section of this website for more information.
Transfer my pension overseas?
The Trustee will permit you to transfer your Personal Account overseas provided the receiving arrangement is a Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Scheme (QROPS) and certain conditions are met. Please refer to the Leaving section of this website for more information.
Transfer other pension plans into the DC Section?
Provided the proposed transfer meets certain criteria then transfers into the DC Section are permitted. Please refer to the Transfer in section of this website for more information.
Change where I am investing?
If you wish to change the funds in which you are investing, then you can do so via your Personal Account at MyPru. You can also complete an Investment Change Form which is available in the Documents library.
Find out how well are my funds performing?
Information on how each fund is performing is updated quarterly and is available via the Scheme's Fund Factsheets. An overview of the funds' performance can be found on the Fund performance page.
Find out what funds I can invest in?
There is a range of investment options to choose from and it's important you make a choice that's right for you. You can find out about your options on the Your investments page.
Find out how what happens if I leave the Company?
The options available to you if you leave the Company depend on how long you were a member of the Scheme at the time of leaving. Further information is available from the Leaving section of this website.
Find out what happens to my pension in the event of my death?
In the event of your death a benefit may become payable to your Spouse, Civil Partner/same sex spouse and/or Dependant(s). This benefit will be a return of the value of your Personal Account.
Please note, to ensure the Trustee is aware of your wishes it is important you regularly complete an Expression of Wish. The easiest way to do this is via your Personal Account at MyPru. You can also download, print, and post an Expression of Wish form.
Find out if my Spouse will receive pension payments in the event of my death?
Following your death your Spouse or Civil Partner will generally receive a pension. To find out more, visit the Death Benefits page.
Find out when I can retire?
Under current legislation the earliest that you may retire is age 55, please note this is changing to age 57 in 2028. If you joined the DC Section before 6 April 2006 you may retire at age 50. You must take your retirement benefits on or before age 75. For more information see our Retirement options section.

Update my personal details?
You can update your personal details via your Personal Account at MyPru. Registering for access is very straightforward and the Trustee would encourage you to do so if you are not already registered.

Find out if I will get a tax-free cash lump sum?
When you retire, you will have the choice of taking up to 25% of the value of Personal Account as a tax-free cash lump sum. See your options at retirement.
